It has the flavor profile of a sangria. It’s sweet at the onset with an all-spice finish.
- 1 oz dry red wine
- 1 oz apple brandy (Laird’s)
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup
- 1/4 oz allspice dram
Shake everything in a cocktail shaker with ice and strain into a coupe. Spray the surface of the cocktail with oils from a lemon peel and garnish with the peel and some frosted cranberries.
